TTie restaurant is expensive (not surprising ven its position) but between 3pm and 8pm (Fri & Sat 7pm) the Happy Hour drinks make it an attractive stop. Open until lam daily.

Bistro Tune, Tmunermansgatan. Local pub near Maria Torget favoured by the heavier drinking fraternity. Cheap beer and good bar food.
Fenix, Gotagatan 40; just up from Slussen. Americanstyle bar that's trendy, noisy and lively. Good selection of beers and cheapish food.
HaUVvay Inn, Woltaiar Yxkullsgatan; opposite Tbana Maria Torget. The best of several
Englishstyle pubs on Sodermahn; crowded and lively by night, and with decent bar lunches.
Banna's Krog, SkSnegatan. Loud and trendy Sodermalm bar and grill.
Open Gate, Hobergsgatan. The cheapest beer in Stockholm starting at 12kr and rising 2kr
every hour ensures this bar's popularity. For the serious drinker only.
Soders Hjarta, Belhnansgatan 22. Swanky restaurant with a less intimidating and friendly
bar on the mezzanine floor that's generally packed out. Youll have to check your coat on the
way in.
Live music: rock and jazz
Apart from the cafes and bars already listed, there's no shortage of specific venues that put on live music; see the list below. Most of these will be local bands, for which you'll pay around 5060kr entrance, but nearly all the big names make it to Stockholm as well these days, playing at a variety of seated halls and staiums tickets for these are, of course, much more expensive.

Melody, Kungstradgdrden, Norrmalm. Part of the Daily News complex, this central rock venue hosts the most consistent range of live rock music in town everything from grune to techno.
Stampen, Stora Nygatan 5, Gamla Stan. Longestablished and rowdy jazz club, both trad and mainstream; occasional foreign names too.
Tre Backar, Tegnergatan 1214, Norrmalm; Tbana Mdmansgatan. Good, cheap pub with a live cellar venue. Music every night MonSat; open until midnight.
